On-site Trainings
Providers interested in serving as a specialist with Crisis Care Network must complete a one day, on-site program in crisis response services incorporating principles of psychological first aid. CCN's on-site "Best Practices in Critical Incident Response in the Workplace - On-site" training meets this criteria. Providers completing this one day on-site program, or other qualifying one day, on-site crisis response programs will satisfy the CCN's basic provider training requirement. In addition to completing a one day, on-site program, providers intending to serve with CCN must also have a masters or doctoral degree in a mental health field, hold licensure or certification enabling them to practice independently, and maintain professional liability insurance.
On-Site Program Summary
The onsite program covers trends in the nature and frequency of critical incidents in the workplace, how to incorporate psychological first aid principles in response to organizations, individuals, and workgroups, how to organize response to incidents in the workplace, exercising culturally competency in the context of response to mass disasters, and how to promote resiliency and self care. This program covers:

Objectives
Attendees completing this course will:
- Know how to effectively and professionally manage a consulting relationship with an employer seeking critical incident response services.
- Know what to avoid in the delivery of critical incident response services.
- Understand how to conduct on site critical incident response services including small and large group briefings for employees.
- Understand how to provide organizational consultation with respect to critical incidents.
- Recognize key issues in planning a large scale response to critical incidents in the workplace.
- Effectively apply Psychological First Aid (PFA) principles in an organizational setting.
- Understand how to work as part of a multi-disciplinary incident response team.
