Crisis Care Network's Inaugural Training
The Colorado Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) chapter sponsored Crisis Care Network’s inaugural “Advancing Best Practices: Critical Incident Response In the Workplace” training. This training combined web-based learning and a 2-day event in Denver. To develop the content, Crisis Care Network engaged its clinical advisory team in a collaborative process along with leading early psychological intervention researchers, professional associations, and international training and service organizations to identify widely-accepted, evidence-based best practices. The training focused upon delivery of those best practices specific to the unique needs of business and industry. Participants included a helpful combination of EAP professionals and members of Crisis Care Network's Specialist network. Feedback was extremely positive and included:

"Great training! They made the training come alive. Anyone doing critical incident response should attend this training."

"Your efforts to bring training standards to the critical incident response world is much appreciated."

"We couldn't have asked for a more comprehensive description of the latest research leading to evidence-based best practices in Critical Incident Response services. This training is a must for the EAP professional and will serve the industry well."

"I have been providing crisis response services for many years and found great benefit from the information and role-playing provided in the training. The on-line component prepared me for the material and the 2 days of training provided both an overview and sharpening of my own skills."
