Crisis Care Network's nationwide Aviation and Mass Disaster Response Team (DART) serves airlines, municipalities and corporations in the event of aviation accidents, disasters and other large scale incidents.

How will I know if I have been selected to serve on the Disaster Team?
Specialists selected to serve on CCN's Disaster Team and participate in CCN's Aviation and Mass Disaster Training program will be contacted by email. We will call those we are unable to reach by email.
How will I register for the Disaster Team Training?
Specialists invited to the Disaster Team training will receive an email message with a link to CCN's online Adobe Connect Pro registration page. Here specialists will complete their registration application, answer a few questions and select the training date and time that best fits with their schedule.
When will the training for Disaster Team members take place?
The live, web-based training will take place at various times during the upcoming months. Specialists will have the opportunity to choose from available times to accommodate their schedule.

What type of training will Disaster Team members receive?
CCN specialists selected to serve on the Disaster Team will receive a live, 90 minute, web-based presentation on Aviation and Mass Disaster Response presented by CCN in conjunction with Andrea Chiroff of Midwest Airlines' Emergency Management Excellence. Members will also have the opportunity to take on-demand, web-based training programs and participate in forums with other team members.
How many specialists will serve on the Disaster Team?
We are planning on selecting and training a minimum of 300 CCN specialists over the next 90 days.
What type of qualifications are required?
Crisis Care Network specialists with complete and up-to-date credentials including documentation of graduate degree in a mental health field, license or certification to practice independently, training and experience in critical incident response, and liability insurance are invited to apply for service with the Disaster Team.
Will I need any special equipment to particpate in the live, web-based Disaster Training?
Specialists will only need a telephone and a computer with high speed internet access to participate in the live, web-based Disaster Training.
How long will I be deployed?
Depending on the role you serve you may be deployed for 1-7 days.
How will Disaster Team members be compensated?
CCN's Disaster Team members will be paid rates of $400-$600 per day, guaranteed a minimum of 1 day regardless of hours worked, reimbursed for time and expense to and from site, and are likely to work 4- 7 days.
What if I join the team but am unable to respond at the time of an incident?
It's understood that not all Disaster Team members will be available for deployment when called. Team members are free to accept or decline response requests as needed.
